1. Eligibility

  • MediMindDoc is intended for users aged 16 years and older.
  • By accessing and using MediMindDoc, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

2. Medical Disclaimer

  • MediMindDoc is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • All content is for educational purposes only.
  • Always consult a licensed healthcare provider for medical concerns.
  • Do not delay, disregard, or modify professional medical advice based on information from this platform.

3. AI-Powered Educational Tool

  • MediMindDoc uses AI to generate health-related educational content from publicly available and vetted sources.
  • Responses may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date.
  • This tool does not provide clinical advice or replace professional consultation.

4. No Provider-Patient Relationship

  • Using MediMindDoc does not create a provider-patient or doctor-patient relationship.
  • MediMindDoc does not offer medical care or connect you with licensed medical professionals.

5. Not for Emergency Use

  • MediMindDoc is not intended for emergencies.
  • In urgent or life-threatening situations, immediately call 911 (U.S.) or your local emergency service.
  • MediMindDoc cannot evaluate, diagnose, or manage emergencies.

6. Data Collection & Privacy

  • MediMindDoc may collect limited personal information (e.g., first name, last name, email, phone number) for account and service management.
  • This information is stored securely on HIPAA-compliant servers.
  • Users must not submit any Protected Health Information (PHI) in text, voice, or any other form.

7. Protected Health Information (PHI)

  • Do not enter or share PHI, including but not limited to:
    • Full name (if tied to medical context)
    • Address or date of birth
    • Medical records, test results, or insurance numbers
    • Detailed health conditions, symptoms, or treatment plans
  • Although MediMindDoc uses secure storage, the app is not designed for PHI.
  • Users are solely responsible for avoiding PHI disclosure.

8. History, Storage & Backup (Zero-Knowledge Architecture)

  • MediMindDoc allows users to save their chat history locally on their device under a zero-knowledge architecture.
    • This means MediMindDoc and its developers cannot access, read, or recover your local history.
  • Users may optionally choose to back up history to their own cloud storage:
    • iOS users → iCloud
    • Android users → Google Drive
  • Backups are encrypted and controlled entirely by the user.
  • Users can restore chat history from backups at any time.
  • Chat history may be used by the user to generate summaries or insights, but MediMindDoc has no access to this data.

9. Third-Party Services

  • MediMindDoc may include integrations with third-party tools (e.g., maps, educational resources, storage providers).
  • MediMindDoc does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their accuracy, privacy, or content.
  • Users are advised to review the terms and privacy policies of these third-party services.

10. International Use

  • MediMindDoc is accessible worldwide.
  • Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulations, including GDPR (EU), PIPEDA (Canada), DPDP (India), or other applicable data and privacy laws.

11. Use of AI – Limitations

By using MediMindDoc, you understand and agree that:

  • Responses are AI-generated, not human-provided.
  • Content is based on pattern recognition, not personalized medical evaluation.
  • Information is for general educational purposes only.
  • MediMindDoc is not a diagnostic tool.

12. Permissible Use

By accessing MediMindDoc, you:

  • MediMindDoc may only be used for lawful, health-related educational purposes.
  • Misuse, abuse, or off-topic use may result in account suspension or termination.

13. User Responsibility & Waiver

By accessing MediMindDoc, you agree that you:

  • Accept full responsibility for any decisions made based on the platform’s content.
  • Release MediMindDoc, its developers, and partners from all liability related to use.
  • Waive rights to claim damages, legal action, or compensation from MediMindDoc.

By using MediMindDoc, you confirm that you:
